Dr. Brad Reedy, author of The Journey of the Heroic Parent, joins us this week on Raising GenZ for a special conversation about raising troubled teens. His book has been a lifesaver for parents of teens struggling with mental illness, addiction, eating disorders and teenage angst. Reedy's process teaches parents how to find peace and security in their skills as a parent, even if they've made mistakes, or think they have failed. Dr. Reedy is also the co-founder and clinical director Evoke Therapy Programs for teens and their parents and hosts his own podcast, Finding You. On this episode we talk about his unique approach to parenting as well as some of the programs he offers for teens struggling with a variety of issues.

Dr. Brad Reedy, Phd., is the founder of Evoke Therapy Programs.

Dr. Reedy’s research and clinical experience includes parenting issues, family trauma, treatment with sexual abuse victims, domestically violent offenders, adults/adolescents with substance abuse issues, eating disordered patients, sexual perpetrators, attachment issues, developmental psychology, and children suffering with grief and loss. He works with a variety of populations that often include students with dual diagnoses and gifted intelligence.
